Top 10 Review: Russia (Sergey Lazarev - Scream)

The Russian giant is more epic than ever. After remaining in the semifinals last year in Lisbon with Yulia Samoylova they return with their batteries fully loaded and ready to knock down that wall of the semifinals.

For this, the Russian television wanted to have an old friend: Sergey Lazarey, who already represented Russia in 2016 achieving an enviable third place with "You're the only one" and his amazing staging by the Greek Fokas Evangelinos. As at the time the formula worked for them ... why would they change it?

Sergey shows a facet totally opposite to what we saw in 2016 and presents Scream, a powerful ballad with epic touches and soundtrack, much more orchestral and theatrical.

I must admit that I prefer "You're the only one" and that the first time I heard Scream it left me cold, but it has been gaining and growing on me after listening to it a few many times.

We already know that Sergey is a very good performer and watching videos of the rehearsals, live performances and knowing that it has the help of the efficient Evangelinos... we can prepare ourselves because the earthquake Russia is shouting very loudly that wants to win.
